Ok so I swapped the plug wires around on the coil and I've narrowed it down to a bad plug wire. The longer right side wire must have a bad connection, this is the same wire that was arching out on the motor where the wire goes into the boot, i rerouted thr wire to fix that last week. So can i buy these at a local auto parts store?? Wondering if anyone has cross referenced these yet. Really sucks waiting a week to know if the issue is fixed

FIXED FIXED FIXED!!!!!! Cut a 1/4 inch off the end of the wire that goes into spark plug boot, screwed it back on and changed plugs. She's alive!! I was running on 1 cylinder before. Hit 60 mph and it got there real quick. Now I just need to figure out the exhaust leak. I put a new doughnut in where the header pipe meets the right side muffler but it still is leaking bad there.

Sometimes the simple over looked things can be so frustrating. Hope it stays fixed for a while now.

Exhaust is probably belled out from vibration. Try some Permatex exhaust sealant around the donut and pipe. May help to seal it. Malcolm Smith pipe sealant wrap used to be the perfect stuff but was discontinued years ago. Looked like strips of silly putty that you could stretch. Wrap it around the exhaust and heat would make it expand to seal leaks. Perfect for 2 and 4 stroke exhausts.
