Default Same axle problem

2002 Sportsman rear axle keeps coming out of rear center section. This has happened seveal times since I've replaced the axle! My question is why does this keep happening, do I have the axle nut to tight? Any help is appreciated.

Is the round wire snap ring in good shape on the end the goes into the rear differanical? It should snap into the diff and slide out when you are installing it.

Yes, the snap ring is brand new from a Polaris dealer.

Maybe a sticky CV joint, they need to compress and decompress freely. Is it a new polaris axle?

Could be the drive shaft if an aftermarket one may be a tad shorter than the oem drive shaft. Several people have posted that when they placed them side by side to check. Plus check for any excessive bushing wear or play in the upper and lower control arms that could be causing the problem.

Hope you were able to get this fixed! I always check out American CV when I need to buy aftermarket - they might be able to help if you bought from them as well.

Actually I put it back in and really tightened the axle nut good. Granted I certainly haven't riding it much since, matter of fact just a few small trips around my yard but it hasn't come out since. Keep my fingers crossed.
Thanks for asking
