Cleaned the contacts on my kill/run switch, now i can shut if off without flooding it. Floats are sticking YET AGAIN, gas pours out like a civ. I'm pretty much done with this carb. I just have terrible luck with them and wind up buying new. I am beyond frustrated. Any body know where I can get a whole new carb? I believe it's a A99BA25CA (4949574957c014). Not sure what that transfers to tho. I just wanna throw a brand new mikuni in and be done with it.

This is a simple piston port engine that's been around for decades. What was the compression reading? This vm30 Mikuni carb is about as simple a carb as you can find to work on as long as everything else is working right. Float setting is simple. Float arm sits parallel with the carb body.If you have a new carb kit then it shouldn't be leaking unless you have an engine problem, causing the fuel to spit back out. Here's the fuel section pdf from the manual and goes into good detail on this carb. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...U2gGlaHJWSIlbA A new Mikuni VM30 is around 90-100 bucks on ebay with a manual choke assembly. You'd have to remove that to install the cable choke. But before you go that route again what was compression reading? Plus sitting up like it was with gas in the crank case just destroys crank seals and even if the carb was perfect,it wouldn't crank or run right if they're leaking or compression is low.
