Yes Im a democrat, and I agree Gore wasnt much of a choice, but Bush??? LOL Look what it took for him to even become president. For all those who like to bash CLinton just remember..at least with the CLinton economy we could all AFFORD to have expensibe toys like ATVs.

Look guys Im not trying to turn this into a political debate. I just thought everyone should know about this proposal and the effects it could have on us all.

Look man, I'm only 15 and don't know crap about politics...but I do know that when the count showed Bush as president, it took cry baby Gore like 12 recounts before the fact that he was a loser was finally drilled through his thick skull. Now I just don't know how you can respect or vote for someone like this. Like I said I'm only 15 and still this is obvious to me!!!!

Atleast Gore was outright with his plans concerning ATV use. Bushy snuck it in after he was in office. Bush belongs on his ranch chasing horses, not in the White House carrying out the role of the most powerful man in the world....that thought makes me nervous.

The economy was stopped by daddy Bush when he raised taxes and continued by clinton through the earlt 90's with his own massive tax hikes. It didn't really start moving again until clinton lost control of congress. Congress repealed many of the tax hikes and clinton himself became a supply sider. The economy boomed from 95 to 98. Clinton then went back to his old tricks and sacked the economy. Hopefully W can make a difference and get it moving again.

I think even if this bill did pass insurance companies would still put this kind of stuff in there palns, there are too many people that would need to insure this kind of stuff and if it wasn't mandatory some company would still through this activity in there plans and make a killing selling insurance over the other companies. As far as the economy goes I think that there isn't going to be much help for it under bush's control. he's just the typical lying politician. I think clinton did a lot of good for the economy but what really helped it was the technology boom which ended when they sued microsoft. The economy seems to follow the farm economy in my opinon and won't go back up til they do something for that. Just my two cents.

Anyone with any sense should know that Clinton is the best thing that ever happened to this nation! He is a very, very smart man unlike that monkey Bush. Clinton is the one who brought us out of the ressesion that the first Bush got us in. I am no fan of Al Gore but surely he could do better than that thing we got up there now. I was neither Republican or Democrat. But Clinton has made a Democrat out of me. After this self oppointed dictator maybe we can elect someone next time. And I am pretty sure it will be a Democrat!

Jamie, Jamie, Jamie: How nieve you sound. Clinton did nothing for you or anyone else for that matter. Communist Clinton was only out for himself, and he proved it when he left office. The only good thing that happend when he was in office is that he got a couple three blow jobs which kept him from taking all of our rights away from us. He only taxed the crap out of us. It took a republican majority in the house and senate to stop him from completely destroying this country.

Sledhead you sound like a dead head! How can you say he has done nothing? In the first 2 years the Clinton administration created over 6 million new jobs,In 94'the economy had the lowest unemployment and inflation in 25 years! He cut taxes on 15 million low income families. He did raise taxes on 1.2 percent of the wealthiest taxpayers. Clinton signed into law the Largest deficit reduction plan in history that resulted in over 600 billion in defecit reduction. He signed Nafta into law which created hundreds of thousands of American jobs. He peacefully restored democracy to Haiti. He has kept the U.S out of war when it seemed to be no way to avoid it. He has done many more things. These are just a few that has kept the economy rolling. He has been a hard working president. He has worked hard to make life better for all of us!
