I purchased a 1997 Trail boss 250 form someone foe $250. He stated that it needed a top end rebuild and a new stator because of a no spark. So I paid a shop to do top end rebuild and I REPLACED the stator, cdi, ignition coil, plug wire, plug, new battery. I also cleaned all the grounds. Still no spark, I UNPLUGGED the cdi black wire and the reverse limit black wire. Still no spark. I then installed a recoil assembly because it was missing. I was happy to see I do get spark from pulling the recoil. Yea!!!!.but no spark from electric start. Help please. My brain hurts
