Default Engine issues

My 2006 Polaris Sportsman 500 efi starts and when I use it for about two minutes shuts off. I've change the spark plug, oil, air filter and fuel filter. what's next ????

See if it's throwing any codes. If you have the owner's manual it will tell you how.

Check fuel pressure first to make sure it's holding 39 psi.Don't have to crank it,just have the key on when pressure testing.When it dies check that you're getting power to the fuse block and fuses. If it's not check power in and out on the pdm module located at the front of the atv.Has all the circuit breakers, controls, etc. This was a problem area for this and other year models.Also an expensive module if needs to be replaced,but one company rebuilds them for $150 versus around $500 for a new one.https://www.ebay.com/itm/05-06-07-08...JYCRVn&vxp=mtr

I had a very similar problem with a 2006 Sportsman. Good information. It fixed mine.
