My Quad doesn`t have power? Checked the power from Battery to solenoid and that works to that side but doesn`t on the other side! Now i don`t know what to check from here. I do`t have a service manual so i am totally lost now for what to check next. Any help would be much appreciated ? I have been paying this so called Quad mechanic to get it going and so far i paid him over $200.00 and he still doesn`t know whats wrong with it. Time to move on and try to fix it my self. Thanks in advance for any help.

so when you turn the key on you have no power to ant thing? so is the kill switch turned on and it it working correctly witch kills the power. is there power to the small wire on the solenoid that powers when you turn the key to the start position. there is a inline circuit breaker I do believe some where in the line and would most likely be in a black pouch. . just a start for you.

Don`t know if the kill switch is working properly , but is turned on. I will be checking that small wire to the solenoid this weekend to see if its getting power. Then i will look for the pouch and check that. Thanks for the reply at least i have a starting point. Hoping all goes well and riding soon. I have a milti meter and will test a few other things.

So what you are saying is there should be power at the solenoid when the switch is off?

I had a similar issue - first time I took to the dealer - they fixed and said they had to clean up a ground. 2nd time it happened I looked at the fuse block - it was nasty - I cleaned it up and got power back. It was a few years ago so I don’t have much more for details

Look for corrosion/bad connection UNDER the fuse block.

under the rubber flap in the front storage - will probably have to remove front box to clean up the fuse block. I removed my fuse block and put in individual watertight rubber fuse holders

when you turn the key to the start position that little red wire should power as that is what energizes the solenoid to let power through to the starter. if the kill switch is working correctly you should have no power when it's turned to the off.
