Two years ago I had an issue with my ATV display not lighting up when the key was turned on. OPT suggested that it could be one of the modules so I had mine rebuilt and it started working as normal again. Recently, when I turn on the key the display lights up but when I turn it further to the start position it just clicks. If I use the recoil starter the motor will turn over and run. I tried charging the battery and got it back to a full charge but still having the same issue. Will not start with the key but will start with the cord. Any suggestions?????

 

When you say it clicks does it click once or keep going click, click, click, click, click? Have you tried jumping the solenoid to see if that works? You should load test your battery too.
