I for one am hoping Bill's
Sportsman 500 is put back
together in FANTASTIC
condition. No one should
have to endure the pain
that he has had with that
machine.
I hope it ALL under warranty
in the end.

Cob; I set the house on fire again like I did last night and I think the wife is gonna make me move out there with you.... I'll E-mail you about it. I'm beginning to think there may be something to this "Tool Man" name you gave me.

Evensen, thanks for the wonderful comments about me getting the 4x4 back.I seriously cant wait.Im a ATV fanatic.Cob,I might be getting it back a little sooner than I thought.Mechanic said both inner and outer tie-rods were in.Now if we can just get the piston and head back.He said my left hub was low on fluid, thats why it stayed engaged to long after taking it out of AWD.Hope he's right. If it is assembled correctly and dont give me any further problems,I may keep it for another year before buying another quad.Otherwise,im gonna get the Rubicon or Xplorer I think.Cob,I;D love to go to your neck of the woods and ride them mountains.Sounds like your in ATV heaven to me,Im jealous.Im going to be going somewhere this coming yr with the quad, just not real sure where yet.Have a great day------BILL

Thanks for the feedback on the photos on the Quad Dusters web site. I guess I should get busy and upload some more. I still haven't posted the pics from day-4 at Moab last year. We went back this year, but I didn't take nearly as many pictures as I did last year. Now that my wife has a quad too, maybe we'll get out even more. If you didn't already follow the links from the QD page, check out the photos & stuff on my other webpage at Tim's Place

I think I have updated my email address on most or all of my websites, but I haven't figured out how to change the email address in my ATVING profile here. prospector@kktv is no good any more. My new email address is tbundrick@ cos.wantweb.net

Rooster,I was using oil badly, engine smoking bad.The steering wheel has about an inch of play in the wheel, defective inner and outer tie-rods,both sides.Left side hub staying engaged to long.Starter free wheeling upon engagement sometimes.Other than that,Hey,it;s a Gem-----LOL ---BILL

If Bill actually listed everything that was wrong with that 500, then we would surely see a 4rth page here!

How about a color comparison?
A new YELLOW SP500 or a new RED AUTOCAT?
Which is just plain better looking???
