I am amazed that he hasn't showed up already telling us about how inferior our machines are.

Had to cancel that Cat deal for now...
Will get some new ones in the spring,
I hope.
At least I still enjoy the Magnum.
It could be worse- I could have a Max!
Then I would only be able to ride at night
so no one would see me!

LOL!

Evenseen, I have only read page 7 (this thread snuck up on me) so maybe I don't know the whole story, but why is the Cat deal off? The dealer couldn't get them?

I don't see many on the trails, but I have seen a few of the 300's and they are nice. I love the way the winch mounts with front end. Really slick! They don't sell Cat's here in Austin, so I haven't seen the auto yet. Looks cool. I thought about buying their 500 about a year ago when it first came out, but I ended up thinking about 6 other machines too, hehe.

Come on guys this topic has to atleast hit 8 pages. I'm going to get 7 and 8 both guaranteed. You guys leave Max alone. Our bikes are inferior because "Max's are AMAZING!" "You can add dual wheels for added traction!" Oh yea and we can't forget the best one. Everybody sing along. "MAX KEEPS YOU WARM IN THE WINTER!" That right there proves that Max's are superior to out bikes. So lets leave poor Max alone shall we.

Just seemed like a lot of money when you can
not use them much right now. My wife thought
we should keep the Magnum and get one Cat.
I thought get both of the new ones now...
We will have an agreement on priorities soon...

FWIW .. my ATV gets used/ridden all year round! ATV's are not a seasonal ride, like snowmobiles & riding lawn mowers!

We use ours here year round also. It just isn't worth the money to buy a snowmobile it seems here in Wisconsin. The last 2 winters there were less than a month that snowmobilers had to ride all year. That ain't much! I love riding on the bay when it's froze, and this year I will probably do some ice fishing in the new shack. Ice riding is the best though. Wait for a fairly warm day, and just bring the quads out and ride. I love finding jumps out there and just having a blast jumping off of ice shoves or whatever. Also what's fun is finding a nice clear glare ice spot and doing 360's on it. Build up a little speed, turn your bars right before and hit the front brakes a little, and if there's a spot of snow where there's good grip, one front tire will catch and it will send the machine doing 360's. It sure beats a ride at the fair!
