For those of you who own and have owned a Polaris quad and complain about their reliability: LEARN HOW TO RIDE! If you folks love Arctic Cats so much, go to the Arctic Cat posts and stay there if you cant cease from being stupid on a Polaris post;and the same for all the other brands.

Ok guys there it is in a nut shell Andy back up and see what you are doing.I have appoligized, to you so we can start over, as Kagey says you don't own one so what do you care, there are plenty of them out here.I'm sure there are alot of HONDA, and what ever out here but by far polaris dominant's in this area.Does that make them any better no,maybe polaris just has better dealers here ,and Honda better dealers in your area. Here I go again, but I know in farm machiney if you have good deere dealer you have alot of them in that area,if good IH dealer you see more of them.Does that ,make one better than the other I think not. Thanks EVENSEN,I don't know if that was good, or bad but thanks anyway. The new and improved COB

Chill Bush.
This is a nice discusion.
Everyone seems interested in the
"ultimate" machine. I think right now
that includes the Polaris (SP 500,Mag500),
the Arctic Cat 500 Auto, and soon to be
joined by the Rubicon. The Griz and Kodiak
are slightly less 24K.
Or do you not agree?

Evenson; Bet when you wrote that first post you never dreamed it would degenerate into such a mess. HAHA

It's Hog, Bush Hog. Thank you. It seems to me Bill C isn't exactly the brightest bulb in the chandelier. Anyone concur?

Oh yes! I've ridden a few Polaris's. Only two people that I really know good have them, and I only see these guys once every 4-6 months though. One Magnum 500 (only problem so far was busted up plastic racks) and one Sportsman 400 (several problemos). I rode the Sportsman quite a bit and the lack of EBS warranted it to be a DEATHMACHINE in my mind. I like the Awd system somewhat though. Glad I didn't have to pay for the guy's repair bill though. I have ridden lots of Polaris's at the dealership. (Though you can only get a little feel for the machine) I could still notice a few things I didn't care for like for instance, the thing not staying running after 5 minutes of warm up. Probably an adjustment problem, but not a good selling point for the first 500 Magnum ever to sit on the lot last October! The annoying vibration of the 325 Magnum through the handlebars was a big turnoff as well. I loved the Sportsman 500, though I thought the 335 model was an underpowered, overweight poor man's imitation of the actual 4x4 King. Sorry Bush Hog, that's just the impression I got. The miniature tires it came with didn't give it any help either. The most fun Polaris utility was easily the Explorer 400, but a chain driven 2-stroke chainsaw isn't the best choice for a utility quad. The only two stroke on my utility will be laying across the back racks, and riding it would prove to be a very uncomfortable experience. The 2-sroke scrambler 400 is a great idea though. Oh now, I'm not that ignorant of Polaris. If I didn't know anything at all about them, then why would I even talk about them in the first place? God, I'd hate to see what ridiculous answers I will get from that one. Now boys, remember to take that deep breath now.... 1... 2... 3..

Bush Hog writes, those of you who own Polaris quads and complain of reliability problems,LEARN HOW TO RIDE.So I suppose what your saying is that because of all the reliability problems Im having with my 500CC SPORTSMAN,that I dont know how to ride?Well lets see,3 motorcycles,2 King Quads,a 250cc Prairre three wheeler, and a 250r,plus access to a family full of other machines.Damn,do you think with all your knowledge and wisdom that you could get me into a Polaris LEARN HOW TO RIDE program?I been riding everything from cycles to three wheelers to quads since 1974 and I had NO knowledge of that shortcoming. You also said that BILL C is not the brightest bulb in the chandiler.Speaking of not being to bright, are'nt you the guy that bought the Hot Wheel Sized 335 Sportsman? LOL LOL LOL
