So, after not being able to get my 550 into reverse, I have pulled the transmission and pvt. It is not the gear selector problem people have eluded to before. My question for the group is do I have to disassemble the pvt to open up the transmission? If so, do any of you have shortcuts to get the clutches and belt off? I think the problem is inside the shift mechanism up top. Four hours into puling the transmission and I'm worn out.
