Hello gang. I have a few questions about my 2018 Sportsman 570. I want to see if anyone had a fix for the starter hang up. My bike does the same this as seen here in this video:
Dealer said it is a known issue with no fix. I just installed a brand new AGM battery with 230 CCA and always keep it on a tender. It has never left me sit, but I don't want to have it happen one day while I am hunting and am miles out. I checked and cleaned every electrical connection as well. Dealer said its a poor design in the relief valve to release pressure while starting.

Also, last night was the first time I plowed at night and noticed my lights going bright to not so bring. I cant say dim as they appeared what I would call normal, and then got bright(er…). Almost like the difference from a Standard halogen to a Sylvania Silver Star bright. I know that I can to expect a dimming of lights when using accessories such as the winch. Or a brighter light when the engine is revved up. But this did not coincide what any draw to the system. So I would be plowing in a straight line, maybe at 4000 RPM, and would notice the lights get brighter… It would stay bright 30 seconds or so, then go back to the not so bright. All while keeping the 4000 RPM. It even did it at idle while talking to my neighbor. Maybe something cycling and its normal?

Also, When using my winch, both up and down, my dash lights do go out for a second and them come back on.. Maybe related? Maybe not...

Thoughts?
