Though I live in Canada im a child of the 60,s and seventies.When I left school they started the metric system big time so im way more comfortable with inches and feet etc than metric.Big diff for me vs U.S.A. thinking is in gallons .My gallon is in imperial gallons which is bigger than yours .5 gallons imperial is 6 U.S gallons .

I looked at my back yard today and less than half is covered with snow. I think it's done snowing for this winter but it may be here another month until my snow pile is gone.
