Just wonder what you guys wear to stay cool during when ya ride during warm weather?

My pants and jersey are black and were just fine this winter, but if it's over 65 degrees I feel like I'm melting.

MOUSIN,

Hydration is the key, get your self one of the Camelback type wearable canteens. Just drink when you get thirsty. You'd be surprised how much farther you can go when you drink nice cool water on the trail. The nice part with the "Camelback" type systems is that you don't have to stop to take a drink.

Also lighter colored riding clothes help. Try to get a jersey and pants with as much mesh as possible too.

Hope this helps!

I used Camelback hydration. It's the best way to go. I can get them for a low price from my work.

I like the looks of the camelback H.A.W.G., gotta pick one up.. Have a regular one but I usually take the water part out and put my food/whatever in the pouch.. The pump thing they had on the front page for a couple weeks looks pretty convienent, expesically for camping!! Though kind of $$$

As far as staying cool, can anybody recommend a good (either thick shirt or padded jersey) that I wont sweat my balz off in? Right now Im sporting the shell to my jacket and its WAY too hot, but have to have something thick to protect my arms if I were to dump it. (I ride fast and hard, havent dumped it yet, but when I do its gonna hurt bigtime).

Thanks! For the info! I found a nice insulated water pack at Wal-Mart, so hydration will not be a problem.

I also just located the little vents on my helemt. It's amazing what you can find when you look.

Like Broken, I gotta have sleeves. Most of the places I ride have lots of low limbs, and I guees I need the protection for my big spill whenever it happens.

I just knew I was doing the right thing when I purchased a cotton jersey? Thought that was the cooler way to go. As for the color black, it just looked so damn good. Anyway, I got it now vented, mesh, and light colors. Oh yeah and speed!!
