Default Need help with 1998 polaris 500 carb

Hey man I just got a Polaris 500 1998 from a guy and he had the wrong carb on it so I ordered another carb and it fits but I’m missing the clear line that run out on the front of the carb. The two gold ports coming out on the carb but I can’t find anything to hook it up

Looking at a parts diagram on the front left and rear left side it shows two caps so i believe the two ports are just blocked off.

Try looking here. They have the parts diagrams listed for every 1998 Polaris. you may be able to figure it out looking at them.

Might be a bad fuel pump? or clogged fuel filter? In my limited experience with this type of setup there is not alot of vacuum at the fuel pump. Also the vacuum is not constant it is a pulse that moves a diaphragm back and forth to pump the gas.
Low pressure and low volume nothing like a automotive fuel pump.

I have ordered a fuel pump and might possibly get it today. Does the clutch boot give vacuum or cause vacuum? I’m just curious because I was looking at the tube coming from the clutch and the boot is torn.

No its crankcase that provides the pulse.
