Default 2009 Polaris Sportsman 500 Touring EFI/HO Fan NOT Kicking On

Need some help - Initially I had an overheating issue and finally resolved the issue by replacing the thermostat, radiator, through the overheating issue the fan always kicked on as it needed to, I took it out on the trails for about an hour and during that whole time the fan never kicked on. Through troubleshooting I found that the circuit breaker that is located in the front attached to the main harness (on my Model) was rusted and deteriorating, I went to the auto parts store and bought a 20AMP Circuit Breaker installed it and boom the fan starting working, I let my machine run for 1.5 hours fan was kicking on/off while sitting at idle I thought I had it fixed, it just stopped working as if I blew a fuse or circuit breaker I replaced it with another circuit breaker same issue. I went back to troubleshooting, first thing I verified the fan had power so I hooked direct to the battery and fan came right on ran strong, connected everything back up normal and pulled the connection at the engine temperature sensor, check engine would flash no fan, I checked for voltage at the circuit breaker both posts are getting 12 volts, I measured for voltage to the connection and obviously no voltage at all, I checked this same connection for a bad ground by grounding to the chassis and touching my positive lead to the connector same no voltage. I'm not sure what to check, the wires that feed the fan power have no voltage it worked and then it didn't. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a bad connection or wire to me.. Wires can corrode on the inside where you can not see it. Check every connection carefully if you see any hint of green on the wire it could be bad. You could also have a bad wire/connection inside your fan you can not see at all. All this will can make a intermittent connection that will have you chasing this for ever.
Start it up and if the fan does not come one when you know it should try moving wires/ push-pull the wires/ hit the fan. I would bet you find the problem that way.
Advice from a professional shade tree mechanic so take it for what it cost ya.

I don't know if this helps at all, but I know someone that just bypassed the thermostat and wired the fan so it automatically engages when the key is turned. It could be a lot easier than rewiring the whole system.

Yea, it's hard on the battery but if you're just looking for a quick fix...

Thanks for the assist, I feel I have narrowed it down to the wire that sends power to the fan I'm at a loss as to where the power signal comes from or where these wires go and if anything is in between them in order to test for continuity. The fan worked perfectly until I replaced that bad circuit breaker the replacement fixed the issue then just stopped working totally. I'm totally at a loss.Could it be the fan relay, where is it located? How can I test it ?

Try doing a search for a online manual and im sure you will find something if you don't have a hard copy.
Relay if you have one could sure be a problem or any part of the system that powers the fan.
Best bet would be to get a wiring diagram and start there.
Sorry i can't be more help but i am unfamiliar with your machine.
As for me i would start at the fan and work my way back till i found the problem.
