over heating

Default over heating

I have an early 01 sportsman 500. Has anyone had an problems with the fan not working and the quad overheating.

Default over heating

My guess would be your temerature sending unit or your fan itself. You can check the fan by hooking it directly to a battery. You might start small by checking the fuses.

check the fan like he said by powering direct to fan that way you can rule that right out.
