my 05 sportsman 800 lately shot out the dip stick with pressure and shot out a shot of oil. Is this something i should worry about

 

I would say maybe. Could have been over full on oil? If so just make sure the right amount is in it.
If oil level is ok then you possibly have a blocked breather and that is something you will need to check and fix right away.
Can't think of anything else that would cause it.
