Default 02 trailblazer 250 need help please

How you all doing I’m mike new here and had a few questions hopefully you all can help me rebuild my atv. Been sitting in my garage for past five years . All fluids are being changed ordered a carb rebuild kit and got all the basics for tune up . Before when we would ride it I would notice after a while of usage it would shut down then we would wait about 10to 15 min to cool and then start back up. Could you all help me that first please and thanks?!

Welcome to the forums.

Have you checked the compression? Another simple thing to check is the vent line from the gas cap. Could be kinked or clogged.

Default Upgrading the trailblazer 250

Another question is what do I have to do to the engine and or piston after I get a exhaust fortitude so I can get the most HP out of it. Thanks
