96 Polaris sportsman 500 oil leaking out of water pump weep hole
I have a 96 Polaris 500 that is leaking oil out of the water pump weep hole . This is the second time this happened recently. Any ideas what causes this ? I just replaced the cam due to exhaust lobes worn off.

Have the same issue in my 97 Xplorer 500. I read that it is an oil seal possibly behind the water pump?

There is an oil seal behind the water pump. I would replace the seal and water pump while you are in there.
