I was wondering the what the difference is between the two. How do you know when to rebuild your engine or top end?
What will it change performance wise?
How are they done, is it easy?
How much $$$$ does it cost?

Please if you have any information share it. Thank you

Engine Rebuild normaly is top and lower end. Bearings, seals, etc. in the bottom end. Now a top end rebuild will be around $200, that's a bore job, piston, rings, gaskets, etc. A good thing to do is re-ring atleast once a year on a 2 stroke. This is only the price of the gasket kit and rings. While re-ringing you can check out piston, cyclinder, connecting rod, etc. It's also a good idea to replace the needle bearing during this. From what I've seen and done, you'll do a top end rebuild many times over before you'll have to do a lower end. Good Luck and hoped this helped.
