Polaris 300 xplorer won't start.

Polaris 300 xplorer won't start.
Hi I have a polaris 300 and just put a new piston and rings and a new carbarator in it I have spark and fuel but won't run. I did get it to run for a few minutes once but nothing after that. Is there something im not seeing.?
