I am currently rebuilding whole top end of engine including new cylinder. On my way back together after installation of piston was getting ready to set the head gasket on which I have spray copper head gasket and base gasket before installation. I noticed that the piston protrudes above the top of the cylinder a slight amount at TDC not sure if it's more thickness than the gasket without having it squished because it is a multi-layer but am worried that it will be hitting the head has anyone had these problems or seen this before out of a wiseco piston, niche rebuild kit?
