I bought a Trailboss about 3 month's ago and have had no problems. I also looked at the trailblazer but am glad that I bought the boss. I like how quite the 4 stroke is compared to the 2 stroke.

I have a 250 Trail Boss (Two Stroke) and really like it. I have had it for five years without a single problem. The trailboss is a new model so it is hard to ask folks ablout how the machine has held up?

not necessarily how the machine will hold up but the difference in maintenance between a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke engine. I was told a 2 stroke needs to be rebuilt more often as it loses compression over time

Well, it took a lot of calls, but it was worth it. After arguing with a dealer a little closer that I had a deposit with he agreed to match the price. He was trying to add $300 for shipping. I did go to cyclecost.com and got an invoice. Unfortunately no machine till January!!!

I would go with the 2 stroke Blazer. Easier to fix, faster. The 4 stroke Trail Boss don't have a lot of speed or power. I have a 1997 2 stroke Trail Boss 250 and i love it. I have had a few problems but i like it.
The 2 stroke could beat the 4 stroke any day of the week.
