Anyone have any ideas? It’s a 99 polaris sportsman 500 atv the recoil broke on it (typical rope wouldn’t retract) so I installed a new recoil rebuild kit. Pulled it over 5 times and the same thing happened, it broke the recoil pawl right off. Is there any common issues that would cause this to happen? I’ve looked at everything and there’s nothing jumping out at me that would cause it ..
