98 polaris sportsman 500 overheating...
#1
Hi guys! New to the forum! Hoping to get some suggestions on my overheating sportsman 500. I've checked the water pump, no issue there. Replaced the radiator, temp sensor, thermostat and new coolant. Fan is wired to run with the key switch on. Been that way since I got it. Takes 10-15 minutes to get the overheating light from just idling. With the radiator cap off it eventually starts to overflow the filler but when I Rev the engine the level drops half an inch then comes back after I let off. Don't know where to turn from here... I bled the air out of the system to the best of my abilities.. No weird exhaust smoke or smell. I use this to check and repair fences on the farm all summer so it's kinda a important tool for us. Any suggestions would be awesome! Thank you
