Scrambler 90 Clutch Questions
#1
Picked up a scramber 90, rewired the harness thanks to this forum and the polaris forum. Got it running, but the secondary clutch area seems to make quite a bit of noise. When I picked this up, it seemed like the back wheels were locked up from the brakes, turns out its something with the drivetrain. Looking for some advice moving forward, I'm attaching a video of the noise it makes down below. It doesn't roll forward or backward well, and I can tell when riding it it's being held back somewhere. Thanks.

Can you remove the drive chain from engine an restart an see if noise is still there or it quit this will help decide location of the noise is drive chain to tight?Sometime people over tighten chain an transmission secondary shaft put bearing in a bind so removing chain from the rearend it will help decide where the noise is from or if chain is bad rusty an hard to rotate

The clutches are most likely shot. They are known to be a problem and there are very few parts readily available for them because Polaris didn’t make them. It was all made in China so if it is clutch then you may need to try one of the Chinese small ATV forums to source parts.

Update
Took apart the case, got a new starter clutch, greased some bearings, cleaned up the rollers on the primary, cleaned up belt riding surfaces, greased rear axle and reassembled. Noise is gone, and it's no longer binding up. Got it running and moving great. Thanks for the replies. Just needed a new part and some TLC. All the past posts here and on polaris were a great help.
