I'm considering buying a Scrambler 90 for my son for Christmas and would like some additional info from someone who already owns one. I know they are made for Polaris by a company in Tiwain. Any additional info concerning reliability and performance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Xracer

We have a Scrambler 90 that was new about a year ago for my sons 8th birthday. The only problem that we have had was a coil that was cracked causing it to short out. Of course it would only do this about 2 miles from home and just before it got dark. Kind of frustrating that it took 3 trips to the dealer to diagnose the problem. Other than that the only other issue is the footboards are plastic and break pretty easy if you ride on rocky trails. It won't be long before he outgrows the 90 and we start looking for something bigger. Have heard good things about the Yamaha 120. Good luck.

Thanks 3TV,
I have always been a Honda man myself, but my soon to be nine year old soon and his mother really like the Scrambler 90. I like the fact that for 2002 it has close to 4.5" of travel on the suspension. I know you cant beat Honda on the quality. We will probably get the Polaris since it's so close to Christmas and I already have it on lawaway. But if quality or lack of it becomes an issue it will be sold by summer time.
Thanks for all the great info.
