I see the supposed dealer cost for a sportsman 400 is $5345. What kind of deals are being offered for the 400? are they selling well or will the dealers be eager to make a sale? I'd appreciate any input anyone may have.

 

I paid 6199 for mine and so did another friend that went to a dealer 2 hours away from my local dealer. They are selling very well at my local dealer. The HO is 6999 and also sells well. I just didn't need to spend almost a thousand more for some more power. It has enough for me and runs great.

 

I paid 6200 last October.

I have a neighbor that just bought one for $5800+TTL. I think you should be able to buy on around $5400. They run very close to the 2000SP500s, and I think they are a great deal for the money. Don't believe the dealer cost numbers you are hearing. They get other incentives to sell these bikes. My local dealer is telling me his cost is over $6200, but then other dealers are advertising prices less than this.

thanks for the info. i figure the dealer cost number is at least a good starting place. i'm trying to determine what is a fair price and then going to hit 5 or 6 of the polaris dealers and see if i can get any of them accept it. thanks again.

 

Got one for my wife about 2 months ago, for $6400 before tax and title, with front and back tube bumbers warn 2000 winch and rear kimpex rack extension, all installed.
