Being that I'm not real familiar with Polaris, I'm hoping you guys can help me.

I know a guy who's selling a 2000 Sportsman 500 with 91 miles on it. It was used to go mushroom hunting last year. This guy typically buys one for a seaon of mushroom hunting and then sells it. (My neighbor has bought his last two)

He's asking $5200.- for it. Again, not knowing much about Polaris's. Is that a good deal?

I haven't even gone over and looked at it, but my neighbor has. He said it is in perfect condition and if he could swing the cash he would buy it. So, I thought I would ask you guys to see if I should even call the guy and go see it.

Any help would be appreciated, what to look for, what makes this machine good, bad, or anything else you can tell me about a 2000 Sportsman 500.

Thanks!

New they went for 6500-7000. they retailed for 6999. Yeah 5200 is a good deal with 91 miles! wow. my 2000 has 1960 miles on it. with not a single problem reported.

Very good buy.
Last year, I bought 99 sportsman 500 in excellent condition with 600 miles on it. I gave 5200 for it, and it was a great deal. I love the machine. The idependant rear suspension gives the smoothest ride of any atv. It has great power, handles good for a big machine, and the 4x4 system is the best.

Buy it. its hardly broken in with only 91 miles. thats only 1 tank of gas.

Seems kind of overkill to buy a $6500 machine to pick muchrooms.

thats a very good deal

Go get it before someone else does !!!

I don't where Cedar Lake is, but this is a tough State to buy quads in. When I bought my H.O., I was lucky to get $400 off list.

Go on now...go get it.
