Don't forget to mod the airbox and re jet the carb to get the most out of the mods.
I also found my throttle cable had streached the other day, and adjusted it to give me about an extra 10% travel in the cable. One of the Best HP imporvments I have made!!

get a filter that isnt black and make of paper. lol. try a uni or a k&n (if ya can talk jake into it) i say you should replace the engine with a potatoe so i dont have to worry about you getting any ideas about you beating my 400ex. hehe

hey, what do you think i am, made of money? if i buy you a filter, it will take me a few days longer to buy a faster 4-wheeler than you. get a jet kit too. i want you to have every oportunity to beat me, so that if you do, i have an excuse, and if you dont, i can pick on you. lol.

Thats a big if. If i blow a tire, if my throttle sticks after I let off to let you catch up and have to hit the break. As soon as I get a couple more checks come, honda wont have a chance. Only thing is with too many mods i'll have to start burning high test. And im not going to spend $30 on an air filter. Do I look like I'm made of money. Plus, my wakeboard needs some supplies also.

rcr or hpd pipe, jet kit, roller clutch, and some razr tires (20 inch rears 22 inch fronts). you could get some douglas rims to save a little weight and make it look really nice too. save weight wherever you can, it is your only chance of beating me. wakeboarding... ha you have a ????? pro model serial number 7062 or something like that. make your scrambler faster, there is nothing like a tuned up 2-stroke. you dont need high octane gas unless you increase compression. the only advantage is that it resists detonation better.

I BUILT MY SISTER ONE MEAN A$$ 400. IT HAS THE FMF PIPE AND SILENCER THIS GAVE 10 HORSE GAIN ALONE. NEXT GO WITH THE K&N FILTER AND A U.F.O. IN THE CARB THE UFO GIVES YOU 4 PONIES AND SNAPS UP THROTTLE RESPONSE BIG TIME. THEN YOU CAN MOVE INTO THE DELTA V-FORCE REEDS AND A REED SPACER KIT. FINALLY I INSTALLED A 14 TO 1 COMPRESSION COOL HEAD AND A ROLLER CLUTCH, AND A PORTING JOB. WE NOW HAVE TO RUN VP C-12 FUEL BUT I WILL TELL YOU THIS I WEIGHT 230 AND WHILE LEANING OVER THE BARS AT A DEAD STOP IF I SPIKE THE GAS IT COMPLETELY FLIPS OVER BACKWARDS. ALL THIS WITH STOCK GEARING AND TIRES. WE RAN IT AGAINST OUR RAPTOR AND MY MIGHTY ZILLA AND I WAS VERY IMPRESSED. IT RUNS DOWN THE RAPTOR AND IN THE WOODS I CAN'T LOSE IT ON MY ZILLA UNTIL I HIT A ROAD OR FEILD THEN IT IS BYE BYE TIME, BUT I HAVE ONE HELL OF A GOOD TIME WITH HER SCOOT.TOTAL $ INVESTED APPROX 1,100 FOR PARTS (WELL WORTH IT) AND MY TIME. ADD ABOUT 500-600 FOR SHOP LABOR IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DO IT YOURSELF AND THE CLUTCH, U.F.O., AND BILLET HEAD REQUIRE SOME DRILLING AND SHAPING. THE UFO IS ONLY 30 BUCKS, AO GO WITH A PIPE AND THE UFO AND A K&N FIRST. DON'T MOD YOUR AIR BOX UNLESS YOU RIDE IN DRY CONDITIONS. !!!!REMEBER TO REJET YOUR CARB AFTER ANY MODS AND FOLLOW THE UFO GUIDE CLOSELY, BECAUSE YOU ACTUALLY LEAN OUT THE PILOT JET BUT YOU STILL GO UP ON THE MAIN.
