just posting this on all forums to get it around, heres the idea, we DONT buy gas for 3 days, July 3, 4, and 5th. tell me what u think of it.

I hate to be negative about it but there is no way you will be able to get enough people in these forums to make any impact, Maybe if you had t.v. news but just postiong on the internet I am afraid isin't gonna get you anywhere.

 

Not to make your idea seem bad because i agree that it is getting expensive to drive my truck around. but just because you do not buy gas for three days you think that the gas prices are going to drop. I know that if i owned a gas station and i hear that everyone was not going to buy gass on that three day weekend. then i would just jack my gas prices up even higher than they already are. because after the three day weekend everyone will be filling up. so i do not think that that would be a good idea. just my opinion thought

 

You are better off to not Buy gas from the major oil companys like exxon or mobil Once there sales drop they will lower there price.

 

you think gas is expensive in the states try 83.9 cents a litre for hightest here in nb and 76.9 for regular there is either 4 or 4.5 litres to a us gallon i think.

 

I say we jack up the prices on our exports going to the OPEC nations such as grain and medical supplies. Obviously, with our higher fuel prices, it costs us alot more to produce and ship the necessities that they also need to survive. If they don't like it, they can eat their sand.

 

That's the best damned solution I've heard in a while...what goes good with sand? How about a crude oil chaser?

 

 

all we need is someone in the whitehouse with ***** enough to do this. I'm tempted to run in the next election. Enough of this being the good neighbor. It's time we look out for ourselves first.

 

WELL WHILE I DON'T MIND PAYING 6 BUCKS A GALLON FOR MY C-12 FUEL FOR MY THIRSTY ZILLA'S I ABOUT CRIED 2 DAYS AGO WHEN IT COSTED ME 170 DOLLARS TO FILL MY BOAT, AND WITH THE MOTOR IN THAT THING IT WILL USE 40 -50 GALLONS AN HOUR AT FULL THROTTLE. AS FOR EXPORTS WE EXPORT OIL TO OTHER COUNTRIES OURSELVES. WE HAVE ENOUGH OIL IN ALASKA TO SUPPLY OUR OWN FUEL NEEDS, HOWEVER THEY MAKE MORE MONEY EXPORTING OUR OIL TO OTHER COUNTRIES SO THIS IS WHY WE IMPORT, (KINDA LIKE SELLING YOUR COWS TO MCDONALDS THEN BUY BACK A CHEESEBURGER FROM THEM) IT IS ALL A MONEY GAME FROM WHICH OIL COMPANIES, AND GOVERMENT OFFICALS MAKE MONEY FROM. THE BIG PLAN THEY HAVE IN STORE FOR US IS THAT THEY ARE GOING TO SKY ROCKET PRICES INTO THE 2-3 DOLLAR RANGE FOR A FEW MONTHS THEN WHEN IT COMES BACK DOWN TO CURRENT PRICES EVERYONE WILL BE HAPPY ENOUGH TO LIVE WITH THAT. ONE THING I HAVE NOTICED THAT IS KIND OF ODD TO ME IS THAT NO MATTER WHAT THE PRICE OF GAS DOES AT THE PUMP THE PRICE OF MY RACING FUEL DOES NOT CHANGE, BUT SINCE YOU CAN'T RUN A LEADED 114 OCTANE GAS IN YOUR CAR I GUESS THEY FIGURE THIS IS NOT A BIG ENOUGH MARKET TO MESS WITH. ALL I KNOW IS THAT I AM READY TO TRADE MY 600 HP 502 CI BOAT MOTOR IN FOR A COUPLE OF OARS--LOL. ANYWAY I AM DOWN WITH ANY IDEA THAT HELPS, BUT I DO BELIEVE THEY HAVE US EITHER WAY, AND I OWN MY OWN COMPANY AND THE COST OF FUEL IS NOW ESTIMATED INTO MY CONTRACTS BECAUSE IT IS KILLING EVERYONE. MY IDEA IS LOCKING FUEL CAPS BECAUSE A WHOLE LOT OF GAS SIPHONING WILL BE GOING ON THIS YEAR, ALREADY PUT ON ON THE 90 GALLON TANK IN THE BOAT AND GETTING ONE FOR THE TRUCK SOON. GEEZ I MAY HAVE TO START PIMPING OUT THE GIRL FRIEND FOR GAS MONEY NOW THAT IS SAD. (JUST KIDING HONEY)
