Has any one tried turning your tires around backwards when riding in the sand? A Polaris dealer told me if I would switch my back tires, it would help when riding in the sand.

What type of tires do you have? If they have huge lugs on them, it will make a huge difference. I went to the little sahara sand dunes and took my xplorer. I would get half way up the dunes and the tires would dig in. Then i turned my outlaws around and could go right up them. Instead of digging down and moving the sand to the outside of the tire, it would push the sand to the inside of the tire and keep the bike up on top of the sand. I just turned my rear tires around.
