I replaced my rear sprockets and chain. My front sprocket on the rear drive isnt tight against the snap ring, it has some play in it. Not much, maybe 1/8 inch or so. Is this normal?

play on the front sproket for the rear chain is perfectly normal..that is like you said 1/8th of an inch, parallel to the shaft. my does that on my dad's x-plorer 300 4x4. the stock one did, and the new stock replacement does it too.

Thanks for the info, now I just need to figure out why the front tires are wearing on the inside.

Adjust the toein/out using the tierods to stop uneven tire wear.

You should have a slight toe out for best performance.

Been there done that. Still tires wearing on the inside. Maybe its just because they are not real good tires. They are the titan 489s.
