speedo on 2001 scrambler?

a friend of mine just bought a new 400 scrambler and he was wanting to add a speedo .how much and who offers it?

I wanted on for my 2000 Xplorer 250 it was 125 bucks from Polaris plus installation.

I know when I checked last year the stocker was about $130 Im pretty sure it was a cable driven set-up too which is getting a little dated, Tell him to check out www.trailtech.com, The panoram kit is pretty kick-a$$ from what a couple people who have installed them tell me, They dont offer a scrambler specific kit but im sure the raptor or ex kit can be adapted, I should have one in a couple weeks and will post some first hand results

I just put one on my 1999 400 4x4 from my 500,it is the same setup as the ones on the 500sportsmen,with the magnet on the end.I paid around a hundred bucks from polaris easy to put on.

For $125.00 I would look at a GPS. Most of the Garmin units have a speedometer, trip odometer, elapsed time, max speed, back track, way points and time features.
