I bought a FTZ Booster alcohol carb, fuel pump, K&N and a HPD drag clutch today for the 400 Sport. The girlfriend sand drag races and wanted something a little faster. I'm planning to add a full race port and a 15:1 head job shortly after Memorial weekend.

The Sport already has V-Force reeds, lightened flywheel, fresh .040 over Weisco and a DG pipe. I'm thinking the HPD race pipe might work better than the DG, but I will see how the DG holds up. I'm thinking the Sport should be pushing 73+ hp when everything is installed.

The girlfriend wanted fast, so I'm gonna give her fast in a Tim Allen sort of way.

Post some pics on here of her roostin' all over everyone. I've gotta see this thing. Have you ever heard of FTR's NOS Kit? It pushes 120HP. Maybe you should look into that. Their website is www.g-forceracing.net

HAVE YOU EVER USED ALCHOL BEFORE? IT IS A WONDERFUL FUEL BUT DOES HAVE IT DRAW BACKS. FIRST YOU HAVE TO PURGE THE SYSTEM OF THE ALCHOL IF THE BIKE IS GOING TO SIT LONGER THAN 12 HOURS, I HAVE A QUICK DISCONNECT ON MY ZILLA BETWEEN MY TANK AND THE CARB. I THEN HAVE A TANK I HANG FROM THE HANDLEBARS WITH C-12 OIL MIX (I HAVE NO OIL INJECTOR ON A ZILLA) THAT I RUN FOR ABOUT TEN MINUTES. YOU ALSO GET HALF THE RANGE OF GAS BECAUSE ALCHOL MOTORS USE TWICE THE FUEL. PLUS PLAN ON FRESHING IT UP MORE OFTEN. THE UP SIDE IS LOTS MORE POWER, ALCHOL IS CHEAPER THAN RACE FUEL, PLUS IT BURNS WAY COOLER. YOU MAY HAVE ALREADY NEW ALL OF THIS I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT ANYONE THAT READS THIS KNOWS THE PROS AND CONS BEFORE THEY SPEND THEIR CASH. MY SISTER HAS A 400 SCRAMBLER THAT I PORTED, FMF PIPED, 14 TO 1 COMPRESSION COOL HEAD, U.F.O. IN THE CARB, V FORCE REEDS, REED SPACERS, AND MY FAVORITE THE AAEN ROLLER CLUTCH. IT RUNS VP C-12 (LEADED GAS) AND IF YOU PUNCH THE THROTTLE IT WILL FLIP OVER. IT TURNS 55 PONIES ON THE DYNO AND TURNS SOME HEADS. BY THE WAY I LEFT THE OIL INJECTOR ON HERS TO KEPT IT SIMPLE FOR HER,BUT YOU MIGHT WANT TO LOSE IT JUST TO MAKE SURE YOUR MIX STAYS CONSISTENT.
