Hi Bignasty, How old is this character, your talking about? He will probably have atv problems down the road, soon. His trannie might start leaking or something. I did not break in my machine that way. Thats for sure.
I can see it now. In 3 months. He will be on this forum. Bashing polaris atv's as junk. This is why, when any of the brands bash the others or even bash there own. Once in a while its not the atv that was bad, rather the driver. I dont think Honda's or the others break in there machines any different.

Believe it or not this guy is in his early 20. Sounds like some 12 or 13 year old huh? I purchased a 500 Magnum about 3 months ago. I can tell you this, I never would have broken it in that way either. Every time he comes over to my house he always ask if he could ride it. I make up excuses like "I don't want to get it dirty or something like that". The closes he'll get to riding it is if I'm the driver.
In another words, you have excellent advice.
