Hi,
Glad to hear you are going with Polaris, you shouldn't be dissapointed. I'm not sure about the others, but I have a '98 Sport 400L (basically the same thing as the Scrambler 400 2x4). We clocked it a few weeks back (stock) and it was right around 65mph (on pavement). I have heard that the Scrambler 500 is a little slower than the 400, but I have never driven, or ridden with one. I would be sure that the Trailblazer is slower as well since it's only a 250...maybe around 50-55mph like the Blaster, however I have never ridden one. Well, I know I didn't help much, but it's all I know. Good luck with your new quad.

Are you talking about getting a quad on the Polaris star card? You will end up paying more for a Trailblazer than you think. I Check the deal out real good.
For the first 2yrs you pay 1.5% (a month)of the amount financed. The next 3yrs you pay 2.5% of the amount financed a month.
Trailblazer's deal
$3,199 + tax and dealer and bank fees= $3,450 Est.
3450 x 1.5%=$51.68 a month for 24 months= $1240.32
3450 x 2.5%=$86.15 a month for 36 months= $3461.40
1240.32 + 3461.40 = $4701.72 for a $3,199 quad
If you want the Polaris than get one, but I would not use the card. My dealer told me this when I bought my Polaris.
My Trail Boss will do about 53 mph on blacktop(side by side with a 2000 600 Katana)
2000 Polaris Trailboss
~DG alloy bumper (for a 400 scrambler)
~K&N jet kit with filter.
~RCR green spring & air box modification
~Oneal handle bars with Scott grips
~removed the rack
~removed rear mud flaps
~removed the front mud flaps
~still a TANK
~and it is for sale(with stock parts & extras)
2001 Kawasaki 220 Bayou(wifes)
~Removed the racks
~K&N power kit and Cobra exhaust on the way
~like it better than the Trailboss

ok the trailblazer 250 hits about 59
scambler 500 2x4 hit about 70
scambler 500 4x4 hit about 68 myb 69
but i would go with the 2x4 unless you want more power then go with the 4x4 and why would you want a trailblazer 250 if your comparing it with 500s ???

There is no way a stock 250 trailblazer will do 59mph or a stock 500 2x4 scram do 70. That would make the scrambler almost as fast as a predator. NO WAY!! They are just too heavy. Maybe down a very long hill! LOL
A stock 250 trailblazer will do 52-55mph.
A stock 500 4x4 scram will do around 62-63 mph.
A 500 2x4 scram will do about 62-64mph.
A 400 scram, sport or trailblazer will do about 64-65 mph.

I seriously doubt my Scrambler 4x4 goes anywhere near 70mph! On my best day I'm guestimating about 60-65! Someday soon I'll have to get my brother to pace me in his car to get an exact number. Or does anyone know of good accurate speedometers for ATV"s?
