Well, I think kawasaki is a little more reliable than polaris, especially polaris older quads, but you can't leave out the fact that Polaris has come a long way in quality control. Polaris has recongnized their faults and have taken the steps to correct them. Right now I would say that either one are very reliable, I have ridin my magnum through hell and back and it hasn't missed a rev. Resale value I am not sure about, it all depends on the condition of the four wheeler and how it was treated.

I have but one question: Why are so many people so interested in resale value?? Do we not buy a quad to have the best experience possible while owning and riding it? I would rather buy an ATV that has the most thrilling ride and is the most fun and use it to the max...who cares how much I will get for it when I am through playing!?!?

On average, all atv's loose about $1,000.00 the first year. They loose about $300.00 each year after that. Including polaris along with the other brands. I do not believe that Kawi's. are any better then polaris. If you like them, then buy them. A friend of mine has a praire 400, I think it is. He treats it like a baby. He has never even come close to finding out how it really is. He takes it for joy rides, on his land. It may last for ever. I take mine everywhere
and do have to fix things once in a while. Normally, all minor problems. They all break down if they are used heavily..... rangerchet 2000 polaris xpedition 425 cc 5-speed.
