I have had a lot of trouble with bent rims on my TBoss cause I ride in a very rocky area. The tires do not stick out past the edge of the rim very far and therfore rocks tend to catch on the lip of the rim and bend it pretty badly.

My freind rides a Honda 300 EX on the same trails and has not had this problem cause his tires are fatter that his rims. Has anyone else had this problem? If so do you have any tires you'd reccomend as replacements?

I'd get some nice thick .190 aluminum rims with reinforcement rings welded on, that should cure your problem??

Had the same problem with my Scrambler. Wound up buying Douglas .190 aluminum wheels from Chapparal Racing. I went with 5" wheels on the front and 8" on the back. Stock wheels are 6" front and 8.5" rear. I destroyed the stock wheels in about 6 months and ran tubes to get thru til this spring. I ride pretty hard and so far not a scratch on the new wheels. If you ask me Polaris should sell their quads with .190 wheels, I would have gladly paid a little more.
