Spraying water into the recoil starter housing???
#1
Sunday was a nice day so I decided to take a ride over to Iron Belt and see what was going on at "Side Kicks". This is a little tavern with a mud pit out back which sometimes provides a little laughter and excitement.
While I was there I saw a very mud covered driver spraying water into his recoil starter housing with a garden house. It seems he had left the rope loose and took on some mud. I've never seen this done before have you? Then they took the recoil drain plug out and hosed it down again.
Couldn't this cause stator failure? Or is this not really that rare? I am just curious as I've ridden with quite a few quads and never saw this one before.
