articatsuk,
i don't own a scrambler but i can tell you that i jump my sportsman and it's a little improvement vs not using them. not a big difference. i guess to do it the right way, progressives would be the way to go.
Note: i bought mine mainly for plowing snow to keep that front end up. and for plowing, it does a great job!

It's hard to believe your suspension is too soft on the scrambler. However you can buy the fox struts which are rebuildable, and add the progressive springs and adjusters this will make your front suspension very adjustible. The stock struts do not last very long. I killed mine in about a month.

I have a 2000 500 sportsman, If I ride the whoops hard I rub the fronts. I put the spring rubbers in for plowing last winter, that helped the sag from the weight of the plow, I left these rubbers in this spring. I still rub on big whoop sections. I am going with the adjustable spring kit from progressive to stiffen it some, I need it for my size to stiffen it even more. I have the backs as stiff as they go, works perfect for me, when I get the fronts dialed in should be perfect.
