1998 explorer 400 4x4 with 1300 miles, is it worth this much?

Suggestion: If your finances allow it. Buy a '99 or newer It has two less chains, four less sprockets and the rear drive is concentric The rear brake is also much better. And the headlight pod is the greatest. There is nothing like a headlight which follows your handlebar movements. You will be much happier. IMHO

They switched to a shaft in 1999? I saw a 1999 that still had a chain (im almost positive)

Another thing, I still have my 400ex so this isnt going to be my "only ride" so I most likely wont need all the benefits, like the headlight. But not having a chain sounds good.

I don't know what year they changed the front drive system, but my `98 has the headlight pod that moves w/the handlebars. What is concentric drive? What's the difference between it and a regular chain drive system?
