The Trailblazer may have more power than a Blaster, but it is carrying extra weight that a Blaster is not carrying. For more speed this one goes easily to the Blaster because it is a true sport and a Trailblazer is a sport/utility trying to be a sport. Just look how it's set up it have MacPherson Struts vs. race proven double a-arms. Then look at tires the tires on a Trailblazer are the same as found on most Polaris models definitely not very good for power slidding the back end whereas the Blaster a sport type knobbies for power slidding.

The stock 250 TB has 21hp and has a top speed of about 50-52mph but I've heard as low as 45mph. It is a true sport trail bike as are all the Polaris Scramblers and not a MX bike. Just look at the way its set up. Automatic tranny, 4.4 gallon gas tank, reverse and one point alot of people overlook is a 5ft turning radius. Whats all that spell, hours of endless FUN of trail blasting. I should know cause I have one!!!!!!!!!

A Blaster has better tires for sliding ???? Those things look like the tires on my friends old ATC 110!
The TB's tires are much better.
As far as a race though I don't know. My neighbors friend has a Blaster but has never brought it down.

Talonhawk,
What all have you done to your TB? Any regrets or things you don't care for now that you've changed it?

Andrew,
Lets see, I've got Renthal bars, Hotseat clutch kit (brown primary/white secondary springs, w-49 weights, 45/40 Helix) Dayco Max belt, 38mm TMX Mikuni carb, K&N Filtercharger, HPD trail pipe and a DG silencer. I'm not a bit sorry about any of it although the carb was the biggest pain there ever was to put on and adjust. Overall its made a huge difference in it. My next project is new wheels and tires. The Holeshot XCT's and Douglas wheels. I think that will knock some weight off.

SO HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JIM 99TB and love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

T-Wolf---There is nothing utility on the Trail Blazer. And the tires on it are the same tires used on the other Polaris sport models, and I have a lot of expieriance with those stock tires. They are a good tire that some people even buy as a replacement to their stock tires, yes even some sport guys do too. Trust me, those rear tires are a lot better than your stock rear tires. I don't know how the fronts comapre though.

As far as performance, I have never seen them drag, but out on the trails the Blaster sure looks a lot quicker, but didn't look like it had as much top end. On a race track, it should be no comparison. The Blaster is a lot lighter, smaller, and has the manual clutch and that combonation is just what you want on the track.

As far as reliability, so far so good. Never really any bad stuff about the TB.
One note though, How big is your daughter? I ask because the TB is kinda big. Although it's only a 250cc, physically it's larger than your Warrior. That's one complaint my girlfriend has.
