Can any one out there comment on the overall reliabilty of the trail blazer. I ride a warrior and i have plans to buy t.b. next month for my daughter. Any other atvs that compare in this price range & with all the extras seem non exsistant. Thanks in advance for any feedback. Powderhound

I am very satisfied with my TB and have not had any problems with it. It is large but very easy to ride. And I think it is as fast and maybe faster than a stock Blaster. Also all my friends that have Blasters do not like the stock balloon tires. All they do is flex instead of slide because they are very thin ply.

Talonhawk, How much HP do you think your Trailblazer has gained and how much speed? I am thinking about getting the 38 TMX carb how much more power can you get from it? And would you install it first or a pipe?

Are they really in the same class? Are Polaris and Yamaha going after the same people with these quads?

Greg,
I don't know about actual HP but if I add all of the parts up that have a HP posted it's about 34Hp. By the seat of the pants it feels alot faster. My brothers 400 sport which is close to stock, we stay dead even in a 300 ft sprint. His 400 had Reeds, clutch kit and a DG silencer. He just added the 38mm TMX carb to his and now his quad pulls mine buy about a good quad length in 300 ft. So I think I would add the pipe first if I were you. HPD's pipe is good for a 9HP gain and the carb is listed at 2HP. The HPD pipe was easy to install but the silencer part is set up as if it goes on a 400 sport. So I added a bracket to hold up the very end part of the silencer. The carb was a whole new ball game!!! I had to modify my throttle cable so I would have enough slack just to adjust the idle down. Then I had too much free play in my oil pump cable and had to cut some of it off. My brothers carb went on just fine BUT!!!! his carb sits a little higher than mine. Hotseat was no help so if you get one from them and have the same problems I did, get ahold of me.

GOOD LUCK----RIDE SAFE AND HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all the replys, went to dealer today he says i may prefer trailboss 335 over the trailblazer. Considering my real passion is high performance snowmobiles the 2 stroke and clutch system is not of great concern. So may i pose an opened ended question? Which one would you buy? High performance not high on list, smooth ride reliabilty, comfort, low maint. is. Thanks to all!! Powderhound Rod

Hey Talonhawk about how much $money$ have you put into your tb. I have a 2000 model and was thinking of putting on some mods. I was wondering if you could put a sport dg front bumper on the front of a trailblazer.

Trailblazer00,
I figure that I have about $600-700 dollars in it so far. The DG bumper should fit because the 400 sport frame is the same as the TB 250. The front shock brackets are mounted a little higher but the bumper piece is exactly the same on both quads. I helped my brother put one on his 400 and its a piece of cake.

I bet those 325 trailboss's won't get out of their own way!

I am going to put a RCR low end kit on my Trailblazer soon. Well a GOOD couple of months..My new computer set me back a good bit..

I want a lot more low end power!
