I hear a lot of people talking about putting mods on the machines, such as clutch springs, i am looking at the Sp 500 EBS and it seems that most peopel have theres modified. I am not going to puts mods on ym new quad (dad doesnt want to) I jsut hear so much about stronger clutch springs adn other mods, if i get a new Sp 500 will it be adiquite, or am i bound to need mods.

The quad will be more than adequate for you.
Let the warranty expire and get to know the machine inside and out before you start thinking about sinking even more money into it by modifying it. You probably wont even need mods for your application, find out first.
