Charging more for ordering a machine is BULLSH%T! My dealer is going to order me one (Xplorer 400) for well under invoice. Find another dealer or buy the EX. The Scrambler 400 will be a much better choice for what he wants.

 

MyOutdoors, like I said about the Raptor, driving 4 hours to save a couple hundred bucks (as far as the cost of the HPD stuff and tires) isn't really worth it. I think the dealer is asking 5000$ for the EX, and 4800$ for the Scrambler.

weedy, the dealer has had the Sc500 2x4 for a looooong time now... it just hasn't sold. They either want the 4x4, or the 2-stroke, and he's out of both of those. He's just giving the good deal on the Scrambler to get rid of the thing, but in order to get a 400, that means he'd have to pay Polaris the invoice price... giving the same deal that he's offering on the 500 2x4 (700$ off) is just too much of a loss, too quickly.
It makes sense to me.

 

If your buddy wants a 2x4 2 Stroke I've got a '98 I'll sell him for $3200. It's got an RcR Stage 1 kit, and a 42mm Flatslide Carb on it as well as the stock parts.

Sorry GJ, but I've already owned both a 00' Scrambler 400 4x4 and the 500 4x4. They both had all the bells and whistles from HPD. They're both a great trail quad but I'm getting back into another sportsman or a new Grizzly.
