I am currently running the stock pipe on a scrambler 500 with an fmf megamax 2 muffler. I am getting an hpd pipe and was wondering if i could still use the fmf muffler or if it would be better to stick with the hpd muffler that comes with the pipe?

 

I would say stick with the muffler that comes with the pipe. The pipe is going to be tuned to the engine as long with the muffler. Are you putting new clutch kit in as well cause that will bring most of your power out when you put that new pipe on.

 

How loud did the fmf megamax 2 muffler make the Scrambler? I'm looking for a replacement muffler for mine (see thread on flying quad rider).

If it's not too loud, do you want to sell it?
