Man do I hate to burst your bubble, guys. But the big P will NEVER come out with ANYTHING that will have any kind of performance, PERIOD! Rest assured that if they do come out with a bigger motor, they will put it in a frame that weighs 1000lbs. to take away any performance gains the motor might have made.
Now if you're talking snowmobiles, they'll be more than happy to sell a beginner an 800cc two stroke triple with 150+ hp that will run at speeds well into the triple digits (stock). But quad owners, forget it! You're stuck with the same old stock slugs, with lead frames.
Today, I asked my dealer if he was getting in any 325 Xpeditions (5 speed shift). He said no. He can't sell the 425 he has now. Why should he get one that weighs the same as the 425 but has less power?
I sure hope that some day Polaris Industries makes me eat my words, but for the forseeable future, it ain't gonna happen! Trust me!

Yeah, you're right. I e-mailed Polaris and told them I was waiting for the new Variable exhaust 500 sled twin (98Hp) in an atv, so I would have a reason to trade my Sport 400L. I told them they could detune it to 65 Hp and I'd still take it. I don't think they took me seriously, so I'll just keep the Sport until they have something better than what I already have or my Sport wears out. I think I know which will happen first.

CHICKENman,
It depends on the pictures. All of them were taken in Pennsylvania, just at various locations in the state (i.e. Six Mile Run, Michaux state forest, etc.)
I think this year Celeste and I will be taking a trip to Susquhannock State Forest. The trails there seem to be nice and smooth (for her) and the scenery beautiful. Perhaps we'll do the whole trail this year as I only had time to do the perimeter of it last year.
Sorry I got so down on Polaris, when you think about it they are a pretty good company. At least they are constantly improving on their products, unlike some other manufactures I could name, whose new quads come with BNGs year in and year out.
